Clydebank AFC... 1
Bannockburn AFC... 3
West of Scotland Cup
BANNOCKBURN secured a place in the third round after a slow start away to Clydebank, conceding a goal after six minutes following careless defending.
The home side were given the freedom to play during the first half, enjoying the space to create opportunities.
However, Bannockburn should have pulled themselves back into the match when David Donaldson went close after quality approach play from Stuart Maitland, Ryan Weir and Darren Walker.
With the away side pressing, it remained 1-0 to Clydebank at the break.
Burn continued where they left off in the second half and levelled proceedings through teenager Robbie Todd's guided header.
A minute and a half later, Ryan Weir showed the composure and confidence to put the away side in front with a place shot from 12 yards.
On 75 minutes, Steven Know completed the scoring when he helped home a Donaldson shot.
