PIONEERING folk trio Lau have announced a show in Stirling as part of their upcoming dates.
The group will embark on an entirely acoustic tour, for the first time in over a decade.
Lay have often experimented with sound and form in the hope of thrilling their audiences.
They have been hailed for their live performances will be touring in support for last year's record Midnight and Closedown, released by Reveal Records.
That album was produced by John Parish who said that Lau are "in touch with their roots but not bound by them".
This year's unplugged concert tour sees traditional music’s most celebrated innovators strip away their banks of electronics, loops and wild effects.
The trio of Kris Drever (guitar, vocals), Martin Green (accordion) and Aidan O’Rourke (fiddle) say they feel drawn to a rawer, plain-speaking aesthetic.
Lau arrive at The Tolbooth on May 21, with a show in Greenock the day before and Edinburgh the day after.
