FORTH VALLEY residents have been encouraged to take part in BBC Scotland’s political discussion programme when it comes to Stirling this month.

Debate Night is hosted by Stephen Jardine, and allows members of the public to put their questions directly to politicians and prominent people in public life.

As part of a tour of the country, the show will stop by Stirling on Wednesday, October 23, and producers are on the lookout for potential audience members.

Stephen said: “It's never been a more important time to have a programme that lets you speak directly to those in power.

“So whether you have a question about the UK leaving the EU, Indyref2, our NHS, schools, climate change, or other issues affecting your family – we want you to apply and be part of it.

“We’ve had great feedback from previous audience members, [and] we want to make sure we hear from as many different perspectives as possible to have a well-rounded debate.”
