A GIANT poppy was projected onto Stirling Castle on the evening of Monday 3 November to mark Remembrance Week.

It was a show of support for the 2014 Scottish Poppy Appeal, which was also officially launched at the historic landmark by Judy Murray.

Poppyscotland, the charity that organises the annual appeal, uses the money raised to provide vital support to the Armed Forces community in Scotland.

This includes specialist advice and employment support, home adaptations, mobility aids and tailored funding packages.
