THE Thistles shopping centre in Stirling is set to welcome families for an event this weekend.

The shopping centre will be running its Wolf Pack Kids’ Club on Sunday, March 27, from 12noon to 4pm.

This month’s club will see children celebrate Plant a Flower Day by creating Easter-inspired pot designs, which they can take home alongside a soil pod and pack of seeds to grow their own flower.

Gary Turnbull, centre director at Thistles, said: “We were delighted to see the great turnout for our first Wolf Pack event of the year and would encourage as many families as possible to not miss out and sign up for our upcoming monthly events.

“This year, with the help of the Sustainable Supers, we’re focusing on how we can all do our part to help cut down on our waste and carbon footprint and ultimately leave the world in a better place.

“Through the Wolf Pack children are given the opportunity to have fun and get creative while learning about serious issues facing the world such as climate change.”

Taking place outside HMV in the city-centre shopping mall, the club will run on the last Sunday of every month until November and is free to attend.
