A FORTH VALLEY school has paid tribute to a much-loved teacher after she passed away recently.

Pupils, staff and parents at St Modan's High School in Stirling came together last week to remember Miss Hogg, a physics teacher at the school.

Miss Hogg died last Monday, September 21, and pupils from the teacher's pupil support and development (PSD) class collected kind and heartfelt messages from kids and staff from around the school.

The school held an assembly where the tributes were read out and a banner paying tribute to Miss Hogg was also unveiled.

On the banner were the words: "There are no goodbyes, wherever you'll be, you'll be in our hearts. Rest in Peace Miss Hogg."

A statement from the school said: "We were very sad to hear that Miss Hogg has died last Monday. Miss Hogg was one of our fantastic physics teachers and PSD teacher to 4A1.

"Miss Hogg was a wonderful teacher, colleague and friend and she will be sadly missed by our whole community.

"Miss Hogg's PSD class spent Friday morning collecting messages from pupils and staff to add to the St Modan's banner for Miss Hogg. Lovely words and memories on a very sad day."
