A MAN was rushed to hospital on Saturday following a serious assault in Sauchie.
Police raced to the area’s Schaw Court on Saturday morning after reports of a disturbance, and found a 31-year-old male who had been seriously assaulted.
Officers arrested a 23-year-old man in Alloa in connection with the incident while the injured male was rushed to hospital.
The area saw a police presence for much of the day as officers carried out their enquiries into the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were in attendance in the Schaw Court area of Sauchie, following a report of a 31-year-old man being seriously assaulted.
“He has been taken to hospital for treatment. A 23-year-old man has been arrested in the Talisker area of Alloa and enquiries are ongoing.”
