THE man who was found in the Firth of Forth earlier this month has been identified as a student from Stirling University.

Forth Valley Police today named the man as missing student Rodwhan Ali Al Montsir who had not been seen since July 29 on Bridgehaugh Road.

Officers pulled the man’s body out of the Firth of Forth on August 5 but could not identify him, and released an image of his t-shirt yesterday in a bid to find out who he was.

The 41-year-old lived in Stirling and attended the city’s university.

The death is being treated is unexplained pending a post mortem examination and the procurator fiscal has been informed.
