A BODY has tragically been found in the canal near Hamiltonhill.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
Cops were on the scene at the Forth and Clyde Canal this morning after a body was found in the water near to Applecross Street.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We were called around 9am on Wednesday, August 12, to a report of a body in the canal near Applecross Street in Glasgow, which was subsequently recovered.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious. As with all sudden deaths, a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
