A body has been found in the search for missing old age pensioner William Thom.
Police Scotland say formal identification is yet to be confirmed, however William's family have been made aware of the discovery.
The body was found at Wallacewell Road at around 9.15am this morning.
Willam Thom was last seen in Atlas Road in Springburn around 4pm on August 5.
A post mortem will be carried out in due course to establish the exact cause of death.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
