Neil Lennon has hit out at a Rangers pub for suggesting punters should "stamp" on the face of the Celtic captain.

The Bristol Bar revealed on Wednesday that stickers of Scott Brown painted to look like a clown were placed on its floor as part of a post-lockdown makeover.

The picture of the Hoops skipper features throughout aside text to help enforce social distancing, telling punters: "Wait here."

"Feel free to stamp on this clown."

Now the Celtic Boss has slammed the stunt as "bang out of order".

Lennon said: “I’m not happy about the Bristol Bar thing. I’m disgusted by that. It’s bang out of order.

“It’s totally unnecessary. It really angered me.”

It comes after the Rangers pub was widely praised at the start of lockdown when they opened their doors to offer a free breakfast club.
