AN EDINBURGH man who has been missing for a week may be in the Forth Valley area.

Alexander Williams, 43, was last seen in Leith on July 8, but has links to Alloa and the wider Forth Valley.

There are concerns for his welfare, and police have asked people in Clackmannanshire and surrounding areas to keep any eye out.

Alexander is 6ft 2, slim build, with short dark hair, brown eyes and has a Scottish accent.

He has tattoos including ‘LOVE’ and ‘HATE’ on his knuckles, stars on both hands and letters on the right side of his neck.

He walks with a limp and has a slightly limp right arm.

He was wearing camouflage trousers, a long-sleeved white T-shirt with a faint camouflage pattern on the arm and a black baseball cap.

Anyone with information on Mr Williams’ whereabouts can contact 101, quoting incident number 1997 of July 11.
