THE National Wallace Monument is set for phased re-opening from next week.
From July 15, the popular attraction will be opening up its Legends Coffee House and visitor shop.
Meanwhile, operator Stirling District Tourism is taking a cautious approach to ensure the monument can re-open safely.
Ken Thomson, marketing manager, said: “We are really keen to get our great team back to work and to cater once again for local people who can enjoy coming to the Abbey Craig, knowing they will be safe.”
The 67 meter high tower attracts around 125,000 visitors each year.
Ken added: “We know that the monument has a special meaning for people all around the world – and the level of engagement we have had from all of our followers has just been so heartening.
“Their interest and support really has meant so much to us.
“We look forward to being able to fully re-open the monument when it is safe and comfortable for everyone, but for now, it is good to be able to welcome back our valued customers.”
