The number of coronavirus deaths in Glasgow city almost halved in the last week.
Latest figures show there were 32 deaths in the city last week up until Sunday, which was down from 59 the previous week.
It is the lowest death rate in Glasgow since lockdown started when numbers for March 23th-30th was 7 deaths, which then rose week on week to a high of 123, in mid -April.
In total 602 people have now died in Glasgow city with coronavirus registered on the death certificate, since the pandemic hit in March.
The latest figures for Scotland show there were 230 deaths in total over the last week.
More than half were in care homes where 124 people died and another 95 died in hospital.
It is the fourth week in a row where deaths across Scotland have fallen.
Nicola Sturgeon, First Minister, said: "These trends have now been sustained for four weeks and gives us grounds for encouragement.
"Tomorrow we will take a formal decision on whether to take cautious steps to emerge from lockdown."
