AN INFORMATION event for people with epilepsy is set to go ahead in Stirling next week.
Epilepsy Scotland will be at the Raploch Community Campus on Tuesday, March 17, with its helpline and information as well as welfare rights teams between 11am and 2.30pm.
It will be an opportunity to receive a range of free information materials or talk to welfare rights officers about the support available.
Tracey Millar, welfare rights officer at Epilepsy Scotland, explained: “Applying for welfare benefits can be a stressful process for anyone, but if you have epilepsy you may face further barriers and challenges.
“We can provide information, support and assistance on benefit issues and as our service is in high demand coming to see us at our information event is a great way for us to provide general information to help with your benefits application.”
