A POPULAR children’s book festival is returning to Stirling this week.

The sequel to smallprint will run between Thursday and Saturday, March 5 and 7, with a programme of free events looking to cater for children of al ages and all tastes as well.

Among the highlights will be appearances from best-selling children’s author, Emily Dodd, and award-winning illustrator, Tom Morgan Jones.

Councillor Chris Kane, convener of Stirling Council’s community planning and regeneration committee, said: “There was a tremendous turnout at the first smallprint festival, and the feedback from families and the authors who took part was extremely positive.

“With another exciting and diverse offering across our libraries, I am sure this fun, free festival will be another great success story and open up the magical world of books to children, helping to give them the best start in life.”
