Knock Castle Hotel & Spa is all set for the most romantic time of the year as Valentine’s Day approaches.

Executive chef, Jason Henderson has been putting the finishing touches to a brand-new Valentine’s Day menu and hopes to impress his guests with some mouth-watering dishes.

Exciting new mains on the A la Carte menu include Beef Wellington with a Wild Mushroom Boudin, Guinea Fowl Breast and Sea Bass Nicoise.

Plus, back by popular demand, the hand-dived West Coast Scallops on a White Chocolate Risotto makes an appearance on the starter menu and always a popular choice among Knock Castle diners – truly decadent food of love!

Both the A la Carte and bar menu have tempting dessert dishes and vegetarian options.

Jason said: “We like to offer our guests the choice of fine dining in our restaurant as well as the less formal bar menu, so there’s something to suit every palate and every occasion.

"This menu was created with romance and elegance in mind. Some people like to push the boat out a little for Valentine’s Day, and we certainly like to go the extra mile.”

Last year, Knock Castle was voted Romantic Hotel of the Year at an industry awards ceremony and Henderson is hoping the hotel’s reputation for romance leads to some engagements on the 14th.

Jason added: “We all like a good love story and it would be great if there was a proposal or two on the night.”
