A YOUNG couple has taken over the helm at Stirling pub Nicky-Tams.

Hospitality professionals Craig and Kayleigh Keith acquired the iconic Baker Street establishment, which first opened in 1718.

The couple already own the Tower Bar and Grill in Crieff.

Craig, 29, has been a chef for 13 years while his partner Kayleigh, 26, completed a business degree at Edinburgh Napier and has spent more than a decade in the customer services sector.

The sale of the pub was completed by firm DM Hall after it was put up for sale with offers around £310,000.

Kerry Boyle, of DM Hall’s commercial sales department, said: “Our client has owned the business for 20 years, initially having it managed before taking back its hand-on operation for the past four years.

“Nicky-Tams has an excellent reputation and with its range of drinks, live music and hot food has scored highly on Trip Advisor.

“We envisage that under its new management team Nicky-Tams Bar & Grill will continue to go from strength to strength and we wish Kayleigh and Craig all good fortune for the future.”
