A CHARITY concert is set to take place in Stirling in aid of veterans and their families in the local area.

The SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, will benefit from the “Christmas Cracker” concert on Friday, December 6, at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, starting at 6.30pm.

Showcasing their talents will be the West of Scotland Military Wives Choir and the Royal Highland Education Trust Factor Choir.

The SSAFA says the money raised will help support veterans and their families in the Stirling area in practical, emotional and financial ways.

Mary Kenyon, chair for the SSAFA Forth Valley branch, said: “The Christmas Cracker charity concert will be a great experience for all the family and anyone who wants to enjoy a festive evening while raising money for our forces family in Stirling.”
