A CHRISTMAS shopping experience is coming to Stirling this weekend.

The Christmas Market will bring more than 50 stallholders to the Albert Halls on Sunday, November 24, from 10am to 4pm.

There will be usual and unique Christmas gifts to suit all budgets and tastes with handmade creations, crafts, art, jewellery as well as seasonal food and drink in the Main Hall.

Some workshops will also be taking place in the Lesser Hall to help people get into the festive spirit with wreath and Christmas stocking making as well as calligraphy.

There will also be live entertainment throughout the day as well as refreshments and food from Henderson’s Bistro and food trucks outdoors will include HaggisMan, County Hog Roast and Fallen Tree Coffee Truck.

Fiona Steadman is organising the event along with Billie Rowan-Russell, Elin Isaksson and Nick McGann.

The market’s charity partner is Strathcarron Hospice with half of the £4 entry fee going to the good cause.

She said: “We launched the Christmas market through our Facebook page in June and we have been overwhelmed with the response.

“People are really keen to see this type of event in Stirling and we’re really excited to be a part of it.

“We’ve got a great line up of stallholders who will be selling some gorgeous and unique gifts as well as fantastic entertainment, food and drink – it’s the perfect combination with something for everyone.”
