LOCAL MSP Bruce Crawford is backing the masterplan for the “remarkable” Bannockburn House.
He recently received an update from the community trust behind the building and heard of the ambitious plans for it.
The politician said: “Bannockburn House truly is a remarkable property and a significant part of the local heritage.
“Once the residence of Bonnie Prince Charlie, now in community ownership and is being run by a dedicated band of volunteers.
“The ambition of Bannockburn House Trust has led to significant Scottish Government grants in recent years, however, it is clear that this is a long term project in order to achieve the vision of those involved in transforming the property into a mainstream tourist attraction.
“I’m grateful for volunteers at the trust for having shown me around and for an update on this exciting project.”
