AN EVENING of food, live music and community projects will close this year’ Festival of Volunteering in Stirling.
The event, Stirling Soup, will see diners donate £5 or more with small community projects pitching for votes.
The winning idea will take all the cash to turn dreams into reality.
Taking place at Made in Stirling on King Street, the event will go ahead from 7pm on Friday, September 27.
Organiser Liam Miller said: “We’re excited to launch our seventh event at our new home smack bang in the middle of the city.
“We're down to our last few tickets and would encourage anyone wishing to attend to secure their seat at stirlingsoup.com.
“We’re also keen to hear from anyone interested in volunteering with Soup.”
The wider festival itself has seen nearly 30 organisations promote their volunteering opportunities at the Thistles Shopping Centre, organised by Volunteer Scotland in partnership with Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise and the local authority.
