KRISPY Kreme unveiled its first store in Stirling last Thursday (August 22), cutting the ribbon at the town’s Thistles Shopping Centre.

The store, in the shape of Krispy Kreme’s iconic doughnut dozen box, opened officially at 10am, with some enthusiastic fans queuing to get a taste of the action from 7:30am.

Dylan Hart was the first in line on opening morning, winning a £150 Krispy Kreme voucher.

Showing his excitement for the store, which will be a permanent addition to Thistles Shopping Centre, Dylan said: “I’m thrilled Stirling has a Krispy Kreme store now.

"I absolutely love Krispy Kreme’s doughnuts, so when I heard it was opening at the shopping centre, I wanted to make sure I was first in line at the new store.

"I’m so pleased with my prize, which I’ll be sharing with friends and family – they’ll be just as delighted.’’

The first dozen people in the queue also bagged themselves some sweet prizes and exclusive Krispy Kreme goodies, while shoppers were given the chance to win delicious, freshly-baked treats on the Krispy Kreme Spin-to-Win wheel.

In the run up to the grand unveiling, the premium doughnut retailer treated Stirling fans by handing out over 12,000 complimentary doughnuts across the town.
