LOCAL MSP Bruce Crawford is looking to put tourism in Stirling at the top of the agenda following a meeting with highland games and festival chiefs.
The representative joined Sruighlea festival organiser Matt McGrandles, Olympic basketball player and Stirling Highland Games chieftain Keiron Achra as well as James Russel and Grant Thoms from Stirling City Radio
Mr Crawford said: “This was a great chance to catch up with Matt McGrandles and Keiron Achra to discuss the games, alongside festival partners from Stirling City Radio, Grant Thoms and James Russell.
“Stirling is bursting with opportunity for tourism, and events like these help to keep the interest in our area alive for visitors.
“I am very excited about what the games and the festival have to offer this year and look forward to their success meaning that we welcome even more visitors to Stirling.”
