A DONATION of brand new vests was received by female basketball players in Stirling this month.
Active Stirling’s Female PickUp Basketball session were delighted to get their hands on the vests, sponsored by Ogilvie Homes.
PickUp is a Basketball Scotland initiative providing fun and affordable pay as you play sessions for people to get active through the sport.
John McDade, Ogilvie Homes managing director, said: “We are delighted to sponsor the vests for the Female PickUp Basketball session in Stirling.
“This has been a great programme for female sport and empowering them to participate in a safe, comfortable and fun environment for basketball which we are pleased to support.”
Ruth Henderson, Active Stirling community activation officer, added: “The participants are delighted that they can look the part when they attend our Female PickUp basketball sessions each week at The PEAK.”
