AN APPEAL has been launched after a man exposed himself to a woman near Old Stirling Bridge, according to police.

The incident happened at around 2am on Monday, 15 April, on Bridgehaugh Road.

Officers say a 21-year-old woman, walking west, was approached by a man who indecently exposed himself at her.

The man is described as white, around 5ft 7-8ins tall, of medium build with broad shoulders.

He had light brown hair that was short on the sides and longer on top and was wearing a black jacket, dark grey jogging bottoms and black Nike trainers.

Inquiries have established that the suspected walked over Old Stirling Bridge from Laurencecroft Road immediately prior to the incident.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in their ongoing inquiries.

Sergeant Alasdair Matheson, from Stirling Police Station, said: “This was a frightening ordeal for this woman who continues to assist us with our investigation.

“I’d urge anyone who may have seen a man matching the above description, or noticed any suspicious behaviour in the area in the early hours of Monday morning, to come forward to police as soon as possible.”
