WEE COUNTY residents are being asked to keep an eye out for a missing Stirling girl.
Courtney Semple has not been since Friday last week with officers concerned for her welfare.
It is possible the 14-year-old may have travelled from Stirling to either Glasgow or Edinburgh.
As yet there are no details of what she was wearing when she was last seen or of any sightings since.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland issue a brief statement on the Forth Valley police Facebook page asking for the public's assistance.
It read: "We are appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of Courtney Semple, aged 14. She was reported missing on March 1, 2019, from Stirling.
"It is believed that she may be in the Glasgow or Edinburgh area. Information which would assist officers should be reported by phoning 101."
