A BREAST cancer charity is urging people to sign up and power walk at midnight in a decorated bra.
Walk the Walk is once again organising the annual MoonWalk event in Edinburgh, this time with a circus theme.
Held for the 14th time, it will take place on Saturday, June 8, to help raise funds and improve the lives of people with cancer.
Four routes of various lengths will be available to people aged 10 and over.
Nina Barough CBE, founder of Walk the Walk and organiser of the event, said: “Every single MoonWalk is an exciting experience that just keeps on getting better each year, and I never cease to be amazed by the thousands of inspirational walkers, women, men and our younger walkers, who come together and unite in a common cause.
“Many come from other parts of the UK and indeed the world, but with the growing needs for our funds on the front line of cancer, it is vital for us to keep on walking and to encourage everybody to do their bit by joining us in raising money, raising awareness and to just start Walking the Walk!”
