A MAN has died after being hit by a car near Alloa at the weekend.
At around 6am on Sunday morning, a 56-year-old man was struck by a red Renault Captur on the B9140, at the Muirside roundabout in Tullibody.
Emergency services raced to the scene but were unable to save the man who was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to contact us on the 101 number.
“We are also keen to hear from anyone who may have been driving on the B9140 road, which is the Tullibody bypass, at around 6am that morning.
“Callers should quote the reference number 1112 9/12 when they call."
