POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two cars were set on fire in Tillicoultry.
The incident happened around 1.30am on Thursday, November 8, in the Hill Street area of the town when the vehicles were said to have been deliberately set alight.
Sergeant Josephine Moffat said: “The fire posed a real risk to life. Fortunately the fire service was able to deal with this incident quickly and efficiently and no one was injured.
“Officers are investigating the circumstances leading up to and after this incident and are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen anything or heard anything.
“A vehicle, possibly a white BMW, was seen in the area about this time and we are interested in speaking to the occupants of this car."
Anyone with information can call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 0186 of November 8, or make an anonymous call through the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
