AN ALLOA singing sensation is set to take the stage in Stirling this weekend for a one-off special show.

Andrea Wilson will perform at the Tolbooth on Saturday in a special show featuring some of the world's favourite songs of soul, pop, Motown, screen and theatre in Oh What a Night.

She has performed for audiences all over the world and her voice is described by Andrew Lloyd Webber as "taking you on a journey with every song she sings".

The Wee County woman been previously been a contestant on ITV's The X-Factor and BBC's Somewhere over the Rainbow.

Joining Andrea on the stage will be a cast that includes some young and upcoming performers that she has nurtured herself.

One of those joining her will be Sauchie's Craig Miller, formerly of Scottish Opera and still a regular performer over Scotland specialising in musical theatre.

Andrea said: "I'm very excited to be back in Stirling performing at the Tolbooth with this brilliant, enthusiastic and talented cast.

"Whatever your musical preference, you will find something that you will love in the show.

"It is quite the musical journey from soul to pop and from some of the biggest hits of screen and stage."
