A SCHOOL held an event to mark international food day with plenty of different treats on offer.
St Anne Line Catholic Junior School, Wickhay, Basildon hosted the event.
Nathalie Watson, headteacher of the school said: “I would like to say a huge heartfelt thank you to all our children and their families for joining us in celebrating International Food Day at St Anne Line Catholic Junior School.
“We all got the chance to sample delicious culinary delights from so many cultures.
“So much pride was felt on such an amazing event.
“Thank you once again to all who were involved.” Pupils had the chance to learn about cuisine from across the globe. There was a range of different food on offer at the school to celebrate the event and lots of wonderful flavours to be enjoyed, some of which the children had not tried before.
