Subway has launched a the business studies competition Design a Sub for students from schools, colleges and sixth forms.

Young people can enter by creating and marketing a piece with the opportunity to see their own creation launched in stores across the region.

Shahid Sadiq, business development agent for Subway, said: “We are excited to be launching the Design a Sub Challenge once again for students at schools, colleges and sixth forms across Scotland West.

“The Subway brand is made up of thousands of entrepreneurs who all had the same vision to run their own businesses and we are keen to share some of our knowledge with a younger generation and open their eyes to the prospect of franchising as a future career path.

“The quantity and quality of entries last year was fantastic and we hope to see many of the schools and colleges who took part sharing this opportunity with their new student groups.”
