AN ICONIC Bridge of Allan hotel is on the market.
The asking price for the High Street’s Royal Hotel is in excess of £2.5million and has been put on the market by Christie & Co.
A detached three storey Victorian building, it features 34 en suite bedrooms, extensive banqueting facilities as well as an expansive restaurant and bar.
It sits over two acres with car parking for 50 vehicles with the business property specialists saying it has development potential for a further 26 en suites, front dining terrace and leisure facilities.
The property underwent a significant refurbishment and renovation project in 2017 – centre to that was the reconfiguration of the reception area and the creation of an open plan bar and restaurant.
Stuart Drysdale, from Christie & Co, said: “The Royal Hotel is an institution within the town and with its significant refurbishment, we expect a high level of demand for the hotel, from local Bridge of Allan entrepreneurs as well as Scottish and international hotel investors.”
