THE annual Central Primary Schools Badminton Quaich will be hosted at the PEAK in Stirling.
The team event, which will see squads of four girls and four boys take part in five games – a variety of singles and doubles, is taking place on Friday, February 2.
Four outfits, two from Stirling and two from Clackmannanshire, will be competing to progress to the national event and represent the central region.
Paul O’Shea, Active Stirling Active Schools co-ordinator, said: “As an Active Stirling Active Schools co-ordinator I like to see our young athletes getting the chance to take part in competitive sport.
“The Central Primary Schools Badminton Quaich is a great opportunity for them to put the skills learnt at school and in their local clubs to use in a Regional event.”
