SCOTTISH broadcaster and writer Sally Magnusson will be in Dunblane next week to talk about how people can support others with dementia.
She has experienced the impact of the condition on a loved one first-hand and wrote her book 'Where memories go: why dementia changes everything' reflecting on the experience of her family supporting her mother.
Sally also set a charity up called 'Playlist for Life' after learning how important personal music could be in helping people with dementia.
The event will be held at Dunblane Cathedral next Wednesday, November 1, between 7.30pm and 9pm.
Entry is free, but booking is needed – email Bonnie McDowell via bmcdowell@churchofscotland.org.uk or call her on 07704 601 983.
