THE Stirling Rambling Club will tackled the South Livingston Circular next month, a few days before its AGM.
On Sunday, October 2, the club will leave the Gateway Business Park, in Grangemouth, at 9.30am for the eight-mile, grade C walk, taking around four hours.
Walkers can either follow in convoy from the meeting place or head to Livingston South Railway Station for 10.30am CP.
The links follow two short local walks – Murieston Trail and Linhouse Circuit – with a section of Calder Wood, mostly on good paths, with an ascent of 122m.
James Higgins will be the walk leader and can be contacted on 01786 470 641 or 07880 637 416.
The club will hold its AGM on Thursday, October 6, with members encouraged to come hear what the group has planned for the future.
Tea and coffee will be provided, and any talented home-bakers are invited to donate some scones or cakes as a little treat.
The AGM takes place as Tillicoultry Golf Club at 7pm.
