Denvir Marketing was one of the first local businesses to show their whole-hearted support to Stirling’s City Deal bid by signing the Stirling Pledge, and has since acted quickly to show its belief in the city’s future by purchasing new premises in Castlecraig Business Park.

Having previously operated out of leased premises, the move to purchase is a real vote of confidence from Denvir towards the potential for a City Deal investment for Stirling.

The Stirling Pledge is a declaration of support for Stirling’s City Deal bid, which would give the city access to funding which could go a long way to really transforming Stirling’s rural and urban areas. Should the bid be successful, this would be a great step towards building on Stirling’s already world-class assets and positioning the city as a major economic and cultural player on both a national and international level.

The City Deal bid would contribute greatly towards the realisation of Stirling’s ambitious City Development Framework (CDF) programme aimed at offering better support to new and existing businesses, creating employment and generally offering better quality of life to all who visit, study, live and work in Stirling.

The CDF programme has already seen business cases proposed for a great variety of regeneration projects, including the development of a digital district, grow-on space for established SMEs to grow and develop, a new city car park, regeneration of the Mercat Cross and city centre and a project to revitalise the River Forth and harbour as major tourism and leisure attractions in the city.

Denvir Marketing’s managing director, Chris George, was present to sign the Stirling Pledge on behalf of the company, and he explained: "At Denvir, we’ve been based here in Stirling for several years now and have seen first-hand the potential for business growth and expansion within the area, so the opportunity to be an official partner of the City Deal bid and sign the Stirling Pledge was one we were delighted to take.

"Our new premises will provide us with our own space to really grow as a business, hopefully in conjunction with the continuous growth of Stirling as a city.’’
