Over 100 children from Dunblane Primary, Newton Primary, Doune Primary and St Mary's ESP took part in a cricket festival on June 1 at Dunblane High School as part of Active Stirling's Active Schools Programme.
The event was for pupils in P4-5 and followed on from a five-week taster coaching programme in the schools organised by Active Stirling.
Tony Phillips from Cricket Forth Valley delivered the coaching to over 250 children throughout the Dunblane cluster schools and the festival was an opportunity for some of the children to further develop their skills and play some Kwik cricket games.
Also helping out were two high school sports leaders and five coaches from Stirling County Cricket Club.
Active School coordinator Hazel Dean said: "The weather was fantastic and the children had a great time. This will hopefully inspire some of the pupils to take up cricket and join their local club."
