Stirling MP Steven Paterson recently visited 154 Medical Squadron at Forthside Barracks to discuss the new opportunities for Army Reserves in the area.
The relatively new Stirling Squadron is part of the 225 Medical Regiment which is based in Dundee. The unit specialises in providing the highest standards of emergency medicine and healthcare for soldiers in operations.
The Stirling-based Medical Squadron are now recruiting. Available roles include: Doctors, dentists, nursing officers, physiotherapists, pharmacists, medical support officers, combat medical technicians, environment technicians, drivers, HR administrators, chefs, and other roles.
Steven Paterson said: “The work that reserve forces do within the army is invaluable, providing a high standard of healthcare within the military and offering paid opportunities to travel and learn new skills.
“The Medical Squadron in Stirling is recruiting for a number of roles including medical staff and students. This is a great opportunity for people who are interested in furthering a career in healthcare as well as the military and a diverse array of other services.”
