Police are on the hunt following a robbery in Main Street, East Plean.  The incident occurred during the early hours of Saturday 6 June, when a 69-year-old man disturbed two men and a woman breaking into his home.  The three suspects subsequently threatened the 69-year-old and stole a quantity of cash and jewellery from him.

Police are now appealing for information regarding the incident.

The first male suspect is described as a white man, around 22-years-old, 5ft 5” in height with a slim build, dark hair, dark eyes and sharp facial features.

The second male suspect is described as white man in his mid 20s. He is around 6ft in height, well built with a round face. He has short sandy coloured hair, which is swept back.

The female suspect is a white woman with a medium build. She is around 5ft 5” in height and possibly goes by the name of Sonia.  Detective Sergeant Scott Thomson said: “This was an appalling incident that has left the victim badly shaken.

“We are appealing for any information regarding this incident. Anyone who has any information, or saw anything suspicious on Saturday morning in the area, is asked to come forward.” Those with information can contact Police Scotland on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
