THE sun may rise in the east but at least the Lady Boys of Bangkok are coming with it.

The hottest funniest production this side of Bangkok is back with their brand new show Beauties and the Beats, taking the UK to the highest levels of frantic fun, lively laughter and unabated euphoria that only the Lady Boys know how.

The ladies are bringing the beat back to Stirling like no else can from Monday 7 to Wednesday 9 September.

This year’s furious fever-pitch of a show includes 16 of Thailand’s most alluring and arresting Lady Boys who are here for a record breaking 17th season.

Never has a name been more apt for a show – this blazing hot production seamlessly blends comedy and chart topping hits with the beautiful choreography of the Lady Boys to bring you a staging like no other.

They fast became a favourite touring cabaret show, following their first appearance at Edinburgh Fringe back in 1998.

With more than 200 specially designed lavish costumes – everything from fabulous feathers to diamanté draped designer-inspired couture – the eclectic mix of musical genres includes movie hits, superstar pop favourites and a dash of dance added to keep the rave going long into the night.

There are more songs and production numbers than you could shake your hips to, from Jersey Boys to The Sound of Music and even a special homage to Frozen.

This year’s show will once again be paying tribute to the stars of both stage and screen old and new, from Liza to Cher, and Rhianna to Nicki.

Catch the Lady Boys of Bangkok at the Marcobert Arts Centre this year.
