Arnhall day nursery in Dunblane celebrated its 25th anniversary with a family fun day.

As well as the fun and games, the nursery managed to raise £994.34 that they hope to donate to a local charity for children with disabilities. Nursery manager Norma McFarlane said: “It was a brilliant day. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we were grateful for the sunshine. We would also like to say a huge thank you to all of our sponsors who donated fantastic raffle prizes.” Everyone was in high spirits as the children took advantage of the many activities on offer such as the bouncy castle and face painting, and the adults took part in competitions. Even Elsa, Anna and Olaf came all the way from Arendelle to make a very special appearance to entertain the crowd and pose for pictures. Highland Spring kindly donated 100 bottles of water for the children, and the Allanwater Cafe in Bridge of Allan provided sweet treats by donating some of their famous homemade ice cream.

Raffle prizes were donated by many local businesses including The Doubletree Dunblane, Blair Drummond Safari Park, Briarlands Farm, Lighthouse Photography, Tesco Dunblane, Specsavers Stirling, Lumia Spa, Unique Beauty, The Boathouse, Bennetts the Butcher and John Hill Butchers. There was even a Loch Katrine Cruise up for grabs. Arnhall nursery is an 84 place nursery that is registered with both Care Inspectorate and HMie.
