Stirling Albion are set to sign striker Salim Kouider-Aissa after the teenager’s impressive trial.
The former Queen of the South forward netted the winner in the pre-season victory over Hearts and at the time of writing, manager Stuart McLaren was confident of securing the 19-year-old’s services.
He told Stirling News Sport: “We are very close to getting ink on the paper. We have come to a verbal agreement and we are hoping to get everything finalised soon.” Kouider-Aissa would become the Binos’ seventh signing of the summer, following Sean Dickson, Ross McMillan, Chris Smith, Mark Staunton, Jon Paul McGovern and Ross Smith in joining up for the coming season.
