Bearsden...0
Milton...2
A well deserved 3 points for Milton in a very tough match at Bearsden.
Milton started the game on the offensive with Harris and Mitchell making good headway on each flank.
Bearsden were defending well, but some of their tackling left a lot to be desired.
Shaddick went close in the 15th min, but his effort went over. Easton was next to have a chance, but the ball went narrowly past the post.
Mcleish, in the Milton goal, had to be sharp in the 35th min, punching away a net bound effort.
The Cooper brothers were in the thick of everything in the middle of the park.
Bearsden were no mugs, but Whiteford was having a magnificent game at the back along with Anderson and Colquhoun.
Milton deservedly took the lead in the 65th min after great work from Taylor with Burns hammering the ball into the net from close range.
Burns was unlucky 5 mins later after a great play from Harris.
Taylor sealed the victory in the 80th min with a fine strike from 20 yards.
This Saturday Milton travel to Lanarkshire to play Cambusnethan Talbot in a West of Scotland Cup tie.
