It was a disappointing day for Milton as they crashed out of the Scottish Cup.

The visitors were ahead after 10 minutes when Statter fired home from a rebounded Dick effort following a good pass from Clark.

Clark should have made it two shortly after but his effort rattled back off the post.

He then drew a fine save from the keeper after 25 minutes as Milton looked to increase their lead.

However the sides were level midway through the second period when Harestanes equalised with a shot from the edge of the box before poor Milton defending allowed the home side to edge in front.

The game was going from end to end as the two top teams in their respective leagues were both going for it.

Milton equalised right on half time when Kilgannon set up Green who hammered the ball into the net.

Harestanes hit the bar in the 55th min before their goalkeeper then pulled off a fantastic double save, first from a Dick free kick and then from Statter who thought he had scored.

Dick was again involved in the 70th minute when he played a one-two off Statter and skimmed the post with a shot.

Five minutes later though Milton were caught out with another long ball, which Harestanes had been playing all game, and went 3-2 up.
