ROBERT Scott beat a large field of 232 players last weekend to win the Victory Cup bogey with a winning score of 6up against the course.

Friday players enjoyed the better weather and condition with six of the nine prizes all playing on Friday. The CSS on both days was level par.

However, Robert playing on Saturday mastered the conditions with gains at the 4th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 16th, 17th and a birdie 2 at the 6th with only one loss at the 7th after a double bogey.

Charlie Kidd was 2nd in Class2 on 4up with an impressive inward nine of 3up and John Wraight Shepherd 3rd on 3up beating Graham Menzies on the b.i.h.

Chris Kerr won Class2 beating Stuart Lee, Derek Bond, Fraser O'Rourke, Andy McEwan and John Kilgannnon all on the b.i.h. all players returning 2up. Chris won the 9th to go 1 up and further gains came at the 11th,13th,15th and 17th holes. Stuart Lee was 2nd with wins at the 10th,13th, 16th & 18th holes on the inward nine. Derek Bond will rue seven 3 putts on Friday to finish 3rd.

Mike Hall returned 3up to win Class 1 with a closing bogey for one over par 37 and 2up. Michael Tortolano only had one hole loss at the 4th with gains at the 1st, 5th and 13th in a tidy card. David J Smith was 3rd on 2up after a solid 2up after nine, however two late hole losses with bogeys at the 17th and 18th pushed him down to 3rd.
