ANOTHER good result and performance from Milton against Windlaw as they went into the third round of the West of Scotland Cup.

Milton went 1-0 up in the 10th minute. Brilliant play between Whiteford and Harris set up Taylor who put the ball beyond the keeper.

Clark should have scored two minutes later after Burns set him up but he hit the ball over the bar. Mitchell brought out a great save from the home goalie in the 25th minute.

Milton were shocked in the 35th when a simple ball through the centre of the defence allowed Windlaw the equaliser. Milton responded by piling on the pressure and with 20 mins to go Taylor was brought down 20 yards out. Mitchell took the direct free kick and put the ball into the top corner of the keeper’s net. Some splendid play from Shaddick set up Taylor who finished well 10 minutes later.

Shortly after Lancaster set up Shaddick who scored Milton's fourth goal with a brilliant finish. Mathew Cooper finished Milton's scoring after some delightful play from Taylor. Right on the final whistle Windlaw scored a consolation goal to make the final score 5-2.
