FOUR Crieff Archery Club members competed at the Eastern Arena Indoor Championships held in Lasswade last weekend.
The main competition was a Portsmouth, which is five dozen arrows shot over 20 yards at a 60cm target yielding a maximum possible score of 600.
Tony Walker shot a personal best and captured the Eastern Area Gents Recurve Novice title with a brilliant score of 525.
Emma Borrie then followed up Tony's success with a superb silver medal in the Eastern Area junior Girl under 18 Recurve with a score of 535 in a highly competitive contest.
The club's two other competitors also did the club proud with their performances. Dee king shot a great 496 in the Lady Recurve, before Julie Walker returned a very respectable 459 in the Lady Recurve.
The club is hosting a Burn Night Quiz on Saturday, January 30th at the British Legion Hall in Crieff. The event will get underway at 7:30pm and there will be a raffle as well as a serving of Haggis Neeps and Tatties to all in attendance.
