With the Scottish Basketball Championships now well underway local club Stirling Knights got back to winning ways with big victories for their Senior Men, U16 girls and U18 Men.

First up last weekend, were the Men who were hosting West Lothian Wolves in a top of the table clash, but they were missing new signing and ex-pro Roni Gordon.

A slow start from Knights saw them down 14-10 after the first quarter however in the second stanza things improved greatly with Knights going on a big scoring run led by captain Daniel Chok.

Terrific play in the second half continued as Wolves were no match for the Knights with U17 player Calum Doherty and Iain Shilliday also having success with Knights in the end winning 72-50.

Top scorers for Knights were Daniel Chok on 17, Matt Dick 16, Connor Rankin 12 and Gergo Jenei 11.

The U16 girls maintained their unbeaten start to the season winning over Tayside Musketeers 70-30.

The U18 Men had a terrific win over Boroughmuir Blaze 114-37.

The U16 boys lost to an excellent St Mirren team 101-30, although missing two key players the Knights were just not at the races.

This weekend sees the U16 boys in action on Friday night at The Peak 8pm tip off against Boroughmuir Blaze.

The U16 girls are in action on Saturday evening as they face St Mirren in the Scottish Cup. All spectators welcome.
